Okay, technically it is a dark oiled turnout halter. We wanted to meet the growing demand for these simple and well made halters, but needed a good way to declare their difference from our harness leather turnouts.

Finest quality, heavy-weight bridle leather, oiled to a dark brown, weather resistant finish, with solid brass hardware throughout. These stable halters are made with the same styling and attention to detail as our turnout halters.Designed for everyday use, but a great looking halter made to last. Single buckle crown. Adjustable or English (fixed) chin available. Snap throat also available. Available with a solid brass nameplate. Two line plates are now available on the suckling and newborn sizes also. Keep in mind that adding the second line will make the print very small. English chin option is not available on newborns.

We now offer the horse size of this halter in two fits: Quarter Horse (average horse) and Thoroughbred (large horse).
